TE1 Terminal Circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The engine control module (ECM) displays data trouble codes (DTC) using the "0/D OFF" indicator light when terminals TE1 and E1 of the data link connector 1 (DLC1) are connected.

TE1 Terminal Circuit:

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

TE1 Terminal Location In DLC1:

1. Check voltage between terminals TE1 and E1 of DLC1.
Voltage: 4 - 6 volts
OK - Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on matrix chart.
NG - Go to Step 2.
2. Check harness and connector between ECM and DLC1 and body ground.
OK - heck and replace ECM.
NG - Repair or replace harness or connector as indicated.
