Component Tests and General Diagnostics

MAIN SENSOR INSPECTION
1. WARM UP ENGINE TO NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE.




2. CONNECT THE POSITIVE (+) PROBE OF A VOLTMETER TO TERMINAL VF1 OF THE DATA LINK CONNECTOR 1 AND NEGATIVE (-) PROBE TO TERMINAL E1.

3. PERFORM THE TEST AS ILLUSTRATED IN THE CHART BELOW.

�� Oxygen Sensor Inspection Chart:

SUB-SENSOR INSPECTION
Inspect the sub oxygen sensor ONLY when data trouble code No.27 is displayed.

NOTE:
- For information on testing the Main Oxygen Sensor circuit, refer to DTC 21 under the "Trouble Code Charts".
- For information on testing the Sub Oxygen Sensor circuit, refer to DTC 27 under the "Trouble Code Charts".
