DTC P1600 ECM BATT Malfunction

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. Check voltage between terminal BATT of Engine Control Module connector and body ground.
- Remove glove compartment.





- Measure voltage between terminal BATT of Engine Control Module connector and body ground.

Voltage: 9 - 14 volts.

- If not OK proceed to step 2.
- If OK check and replace Engine Control Module.
2. Check EFI fuse.





- Remove EFI fuse from Junction Box No. 2.
- Check continuity of EFI fuse.

Fuse should have continuity.

- If OK check and repair harness or connector between battery, EFI fuse and Engine Control Module.
- If not OK check for short in all the harness and components connected to EFI fuse.
- If not OK
