Front Airbag Sensor

1. Disarm SRS as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
2. On 1996 models, remove under engine cover No. and front fender liners.
3. On all models, remove front bumper cover, Fig. 52.

4. On 1993-95 models, remove upper radiator support.
5. On all models, remove condenser bolt and nut.
6. Disconnect front air bag sensor electrical connectors.
7. Till radiator and condenser back.
8. Remove sensor mounting screws with suitable Torx wrench tool, then sensor.
9. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring sensor arrow points toward vehicle front and tighten screws to specifications.
