1. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity at temperature switch located on water inlet housing as shown in Figs. 5 and 6.
2. Ensure that no continuity exists when water temperature is above 199°F.
3. Check that continuity exists when water temperature is below 181°F.
4. If switch does not perform as specified, replace switch.
