EGR Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL:

1. Remove the vacuum lines from the EGR valve.
2. Remove the two mount bolts from the base of the EGR valve.

INSTALLATION:

1. Thoroughly clean the EGR valve and intake manifold mounting surfaces.
2. Install a new gasket, torque the mount bolts to 9 ft.lbs (13 Nm).
