Thermo Time Switch: Description and Operation

Start Injector Time Switch Circuit:

PURPOSE
The start injector time switch controls operation of the cold start injector.

LOCATION
Threaded into the water jacket, near the distributor.

OPERATION
Operation is controlled by the start injector time switch. At coolant temperatures below 59°F (15°C), starter voltage is passed to the injector. To avoid engine flooding, operation is typically less than 10 seconds.
