Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation

EFI Main Relay Schematic:

PURPOSE
The SFI main relay provides battery power for several components including the circuit opening relay, the fuel pressure up TVV and the ECM.

LOCATION
Located in the fuse panel on the LH side of the engine compartment.

CONSTRUCTION


OPERATION
The SFI Main Relay receives battery current through the SFI fuse and is energized by a signal from the M-REL terminal of the ECM. The ECM receives relay input at terminals +B and +B1.
