A new cold start time switch is now available for improved startability:

Condition
Hard start/long crank time after dead soak when coolant temperature is above 22~C (72~F).

Application
1986-1989 Supra, 1989 Cressida w/ 7M-GE or 7M-GTE

Correction
Modified cold start time switch. Operating temp: Previous = 22~C (72~F) --> New = 45~C (113~F)


SERVICE INFORMATION:

Before replacing the cold start time switch, perform a thorough inspection to verify that all engine mechanical, fuel, and electrical/electronic systems are operating within recommended specifications.
