Intercooler Water Pump

1. Disconnect Intercooler Water Pump electrical connector.
2. Connect a battery and ammeter to the water pump, as shown.

Testing Intercooler Electric Water Pump:





3. Check that pump rotates smoothly and check the ammeter reading.

Standard Amperage: 1.5 - 2.1 Amps

4. If not as specified, replace the water pump.
5. If no problem is found, refer to INTERCOOLER ECU and check water pump power circuit.
6. Check fuse ENGINE 10A to ensure that power is reaching Intercooler Water Pump.
7. Reconnect the water pump electrical connector.
