Taillight Control Relay

CONTINUITY

Taillight Relay Continuity:

1. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
2. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4, and between terminals 3 and 4.
3. If not as specified, replace relay.

OPERATION

Taillight Relay Operation:

1. Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 3.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals 2 and 4, and no continuity between terminals 3 and 4.
3. If not as specified, replace relay.
