Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION OF WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR






MEASURE RESISTANCE OF WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR.






a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between both terminals.






Resistance: Refer to chart.

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
