System Check Procedure

PREPARATION OF TROUBLESHOOTING




1. Remove the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) cover under the center console.
2. Remove the ECU with the wire harness.

EFI SYSTEM CHECK PROCEDURE

NOTE:

ECU Connector:




- The EFI circuit can be checked by measuring the resistance and the voltage at the wiring connectors of the ECU.
- Perform all voltage measurements with the connectors connected.
- Verify that the battery voltage is 11 V or above when the ignition switch is "ON".


ECU Terminal ID:




Using a voltmeter with high impedance (10 k-ohms/V minimum), measure the voltage at each terminal of the wiring connector.

Voltage At ECU Wiring Connectors:




If measured voltage does not match STD voltage listed in the chart, proceed with the test number listed in the left column.
