SUBJECT:
SPECIAL SERVICE CAMPAIGN - N03 (1988 COROLLA FX HIGH ALTITUDE CORRECTION) APPLIES ONLY TO VEHICLES OPERATED IN NEVADA, UTAH, COLORADO AND NEW MEXICO


Toyota will initiate a Special Service Campaign to install an improved electric bleed air control valve (EBCV) on certain 1988 Corolla FX models in operation at high altitude.

The following information is provided to inform you and your staff of the campaign schedule and your degree of involvement required:

1. Dealer, Owner Notification

^ Dealer notification package mailing date: August 7, 1992

^ Owner notification letter mailing date: August 21, 1992

2. Number of Vehicles Involved in Your Region

^ Only vehicles in operation in Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico are involved. Please refer to the enclosed SSC N03 summary report, by region/district/dealer. The list indicates the number of vehicles involved in this campaign in your region.

3. Parts Supply

^ Dealers will be required to order by VIN using the facsimile transmitted order form provided in their information package.



Please review this entire Special Service Campaign package with your staff and make sure that all appropriate personnel are completely familiar with its contents so that they may provide the necessary support to your dealers and maximize our combined customer satisfaction efforts.
