1. Remove under cover and center cluster.
2. Disconnect "check" connector from its normal connection and connect it to the "check" connector of the amplifier Fig. 7.
3. Place temperature control lever at 77 deg. F, then start and idle engine.

4. Make sure that white line marked on stem becomes positioned within the orange area on the power servo unit, Fig. 8. If white line is not positioned within the orange area, proceed to next step. Normally, the position of the adjusting terminal is in the orange area.
5. The orange colored terminal is the one that is usually connected. However, if adjustments are required, proceed as follows:
a. When the white line on the stem is within the red area, change the connection to the red colored adjusting terminal.
b. When the white line on the stem is within the white area, change the connection to the white colored adjusting terminal.
6. Reinstall removed parts in reverse order of removal.
