Light Retractor Motor Diode

1. Disconnect light retractor motor connector.

2. Manually position headlights anywhere between uppermost and lowermost positions.

Retractor Motor Diode Test:

3. Connect the positive lead of an ohmmeter to terminal #4, connect the negative lead to terminal #5.

4. Connect the positive lead to terminal #4, and the negative lead to terminal #3.

5. If continuity does not exist, replace retractor motor assembly.

Retractor Motor Diode Test:

6. Reverse test leads and recheck continuity.

7. If continuity exists, replace retractor motor assembly.
