Thermo Time Switch: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 50 Testing Start Time Switch:

1. Disconnect electrical connector to switch and measure resistance between switch terminals Fig. 50.
2. Resistance should be 20 - 40 ohms below 95 degrees F and 40 - 60 ohms above 95 degrees F.
3. Measure resistance between STA (B+) terminal and ground. Resistance should be 20 - 80 ohms.
4. If resistance is not within specifications, switch is defective.
