1. Move throttle linkage through full operating range and ensure that throttle does not bind or stick in any position.
2. Start engine and check vacuum at throttle body ports.
3. Vacuum should only be present as indicated in Fig. 51.
4. If vacuum switching is not as described, or if throttle binds or sticks in any position, remove throttle body and repair or replace as needed.
