Service Information

Before replacing the ECU, perform a thorough inspection to verify all engine mechanical, fuel and electrical/electronic systems are operating within recommended specifications. Base ignition timing should be set at 10~ BTDC (with pins T - E(1) shorted at the check connector).


Parts Return Information:

The replaced ECU's are remanufactured by Nippondenso-Los Angeles (NDLA). In order to maintain availability of rebuilt units, the original ECU must be sent to NDLA as soon as it has been replaced.
