1. Remove package tray and center cluster.
2. Disconnect "check" connector from its normal connection and connect it to the "check" connector of the amplifier Fig. 6.
3. Start engine and allow to idle.
4. Place blower control lever to "AUTO" position, air flow control lever to "VENT" and temperature control lever to 77 degrees F.

5. Make sure that white line marked on stem becomes positioned within the orange are on the power servo unit, Fig. 7. If white line is not positioned within the orange area, proceed to next step.
6. The orange colored terminal is the one that is usually connected. However, if adjustment are required, proceed as follows:
a. When the white line on the stem is within the red area, change the connection to the red colored adjusting terminal.
b. When the white line on the stem is within the white area, change the connection to the white colored adjusting terminal.
