Installation






1. Turn the crank pulley until the timing mark is aligned with the TDC mark as shown.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.






3. Make sure the match hole on the No.2 journal of the cam housing is aligned with that of the cam as shown. If not, turn the crank one full turn and recheck.






4. Install the new O-ring to the distributor.






5. Align the matchmark of the distributor (drillmark on the spiral gear) with that of the distributor housing as shown.
6. Insert the distributor, aligning the center of the flange with that of the bolt hole of the cylinder head.






7. Align the rotor tooth with the pickup coil.
8. Temporarily install the distributor set bolt.
9. Install the distributor cap with spark plug cables.
10. Connect the distributor connector.
11. Install the oil filler cap.
12. Reconnect the negative battery cable and check ignition timing.
