1. Connect VSV terminals to battery terminals, Fig. 10.
2. Blow into pipe F and check that air exits pipe E, Fig. 10.
3. Disconnect battery, blow into pipe F and check that air exits from pipe G (filter).
4. If VSV does not operate correctly, repair or replace unit.
5. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between each terminal and the VSV body. Replace unit if continuity is found.
6. Measure resistance across positive and other terminals. Resistance should be 38-43 ohms cold.
