Fig. 11 Double Vacuum Valve (DVV) Test Connections:

1. Remove trim panels as needed to gain access to valve on side of heater unit.
2. Disconnect electrical connector and vacuum hoses from valve.
3. Blow through valve ports and ensure that with valve de-energized, no air passes through valve.
4. Apply battery voltage to positive terminal and ground terminal T1, Fig. 11. Air should pass between ports B and C.
5. Apply battery voltage to positive terminal and ground terminal T2, Fig. 11. Air should pass between ports A and B.
6. If valve fails to perform as outlined, replace valve.
