DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

NOTE:

After reprogramming of ECM is executed, if DTC P0602 is indicated, it is possible that the reprogramming of ECM is not completed correctly.






DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".

DTC Troubleshooting

1. DTC recheck

Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Perform DTC confirmation procedure, and check DTC.

Is DTC P0602 still detected?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Check for intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection

2. ECM reprogramming check

Was reprogramming of ECM executed?
YES -
Execute reprogramming of ECM correctly once again.
NO -
Go to Step 3.

3. ECM power and ground circuit check

Check ECM power and ground circuit. Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
