Procedures

Removal
1. Remove sunvisor assembly (3).
2. Remove dome light (4).
3. Remove rear view mirror (7).
4. Remove sliding roof weatherstrip.
5. Remove assist grips (5).
6. Remove sliding roof switch cover and then sliding roof switch screw.
7. Remove rear speaker covers (8) referring to "Rear Speaker Cover Removal and Installation: Wagon".
8. Remove upper side of door weatherstrips.
9. Remove front pillar trims (6).
10. Remove center pillar inner upper trim (2) after removing seat belt anchor bolt.




11. Remove quarter window trims (1) after removing quarter inner trims.
12. Disconnect luggage light coupler.
13. Check all around roof lining for any other parts required to be removed or disconnected, and remove or disconnect whatever necessary.
14. Remove roof lining.

NOTE: Tow-side bondable tape used for securing roof lining in place should be cleaned with solvent.

Installation
1. Fasten dome light and luggage light harness lead wire on roof lining.
2. With clips installation holes in roof lining positioned properly.
3. Fix front and rear end of roof lining with clips and attach roof lining to roof securely.
4. Install the following parts:
- Sunvisor assembly
- Rear view mirror
- Dome light
- Assist grip
- Door weatherstrips
- Front and rear pillar trims, center pillar inner upper trim
- Sliding roof switch
