Front Door Glass Removal and Installation

Front Door Glass Components:

Removal
1. Remove inside handle bezel.
2. Remove door grip.
3. Remove window regulator handle (2).
For its removal, pull off snap by using a cloth (1) as shown in the figure.







4. Remove door mirror inner garnish.
5. Remove door trim (1).







6. Remove door grip stay.
7. Remove door sealing cover.
8. Remove glass bottom channel attaching screws (2).
9. Take out door glass together with bottom channel (1).
10. Detach glass from bottom channel.







Installation
Reverse the removal sequence to install door glass noting the following points:

1 When installing glass to bottom channel (1), coat channel with soap water and tap it with a plastic hammer.
Glass-fitted position of bottom channel is as shown in the figure.

2-door model: 262-266 mm (10.32-10.47 in.)
4-door model: 269.5-273.5 mm (10.61-10.76 in.)







2. Adjust equalizer of window regulator so that measurements A and B in the figure are equal to each other.







3. Securely seal door sealing cover (1) with adhesive.







4. Install door window regulator handle so that it has a 45° angle when glass is fully closed, as illustrated.
