Thermostat (FA20/Transmission A/T)

Removal

1. Coolant (SUBARU Super Coolant) draining
2. Intake manifold removal





3. Radiator outlet hose disconnection
(1) Move the hose clamp and disconnect the radiator outlet hose.





4. Water inlet housing removal
(1) Remove the two bolts and remove the water inlet housing.
5. Water inlet housing gasket (with thermostat) removal
(1) Remove the water inlet housing gasket (with thermostat).
(2) Remove the gasket from the water inlet housing gasket (with thermostat).
