DTC P2096 POST CATALYST FUEL TRIM SYSTEM TOO LEAN BANK 1

1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
Detect fuel system trouble according to whether the sub-feedback compensation has shifted to the rich or lean side. The amount of compensation shall be deemed insufficient if the sub-feedback compensation shifts to the rich or lean side from the time the engine is started until the ignition is turned off.
If the compensation is insufficient, change the sub-feedback compensation guard value and the shift determination line, and increase the guard operating counter (temporary NG counter) incrementally.
An NG judgment shall be returned if the guard operating counter (temporary NG counter) exceeds a predetermined value and the sub-feedback compensation shifts to the rich or lean side.

4. GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE
Perform the diagnosis continuously at a constant more than approx. 75 km/h (47 MPH).

5. DIAGNOSTIC METHOD




An NG judgment shall be returned if the following conditions are formed after at least 5 seconds of continuous time has elapsed.
An OK judgment shall be returned, and the NG result shall be cleared, if the following conditions are not formed after at least 5 seconds of continuous time has elapsed.

6. DTC CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK idling cycle was completed 40 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" was performed

7. MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT CLEAR CONDITION
- When OK with similar drive in 3 drive cycles
- When "Clear Memory" was performed

8. FAIL SAFE
None

9. ECM OPERATION AT DTC SETTING
Memorize the freeze frame data. (For test mode $02)
