Procedures (U5/Low Emissions)

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air intake chamber.




3. Disconnect connectors from throttle position sensor and pressure sensor.
4. Disconnect engine coolant hoses (A) from throttle body.




5. Remove bolts (B) which install throttle body to intake manifold.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Always use a new gasket.

Tightening torque: Throttle body; 8 N.m (0.8 kgf.m, 5.8 ft.lb)
