Removal and Installation

A: REMOVAL
1. Remove console box.





2. Remove plate from the body.





3. Remove stay from bracket.





4. Remove rod from joint.





5. Remove the exhaust cover and remove cushion rubber from the body.





6. Remove gearshift lever.

B: INSTALLATION
1. Put into gearshift lever to passenger compartment.
2. Mount boot plate on the body.





3. Install console box and gearshift knob.





4. Mount cushion rubber on the body.
Tightening torque: 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft. lbs.)





5. Connect rod to the joint.
Tightening torque: 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft. lbs.)





6. Connect stay to the bracket.
Tightening torque: 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft. lbs.)
7. Install the exhaust cover.
