Air Door Position Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

Microswitch

Microswitch:

1. Select HEAT mode on control wing.
2. Lift up steering wheel.
3. Remove lower cover and duct.
4. Disconnect harness. To facilitate work, push harness coming from meter assembly into steering column lower cover.
5. Remove and test switch.
6. Check switch operation with ohmmeter:
a. With switch free, there should be no continuity.
b. With switch depressed, meter should indicate continuity.
7. If not as specified, replace switch.
