A production change has been made on 1984 Manual Transmissions in the area of the first and second synchronizer and driven gears.
The chart below lists the modified part numbers and starting transmission numbers.
Should you encounter a need for servicing this portion of a 1984 Manual Transmission, verify the transmission number prior to ordering parts to ensure that the proper part numbers are ordered.

New parts and old parts are not interchangeable individually. However, they are interchangeable when used as a set of item 1 through 8.
