This bulletin is provided to dealers in low altitude areas for information only.
This High Altitude Kit is available for use on 1984 49 State 4WD vehicles (Except Turbo) used primarily above 4,000 ft. This kit contains a altitude compensator. See below for part number.

An instruction sheet is supplied with each kit. A copy of the instruction sheets for the kit listed above is attached for your reference.
Note that the instruction sheet include the installation procedure for the kit and the procedure for returning the vehicle to low altitude specifications.
When returning a vehicle to low altitude specifications, return all removed parts to the owner of the vehicle for future use if necessary.
