Background
From and including M07 the acknowledgement that a key has been programmed has been changed from "one flash" to "five flashes and one acoustic signal". It has become evident that this acknowledgement does not always work. However, the key is programmed nevertheless.
Symptom description
No acknowledgement that the key has been programmed.

Procedure
NOTE:
All new keys for the car must be programmed at the same time.
1. Connect Tech2.
2. Select: Model year (2007) - 9-5 - Body - TWICE - Programming - Program keys and remote controls.
3. Press 15 times (once per second) on the remote control's unlock button to program the key/remote control.
Are all keys and remote controls programmed?
Yes: Press "OK" in Tech2 and continue with step 6.
No: Continue with step 4.
4. Remove the key from the ignition switch and insert the next key.
5. Turn the key to the "ON" position and repeat step 3.
6. Check that the correct number of keys and remote controls have been programmed:
^ Turn the key to the "ON" position.
^ Press the remote control button that unlocks the boot lid.
^ SID shows the number of keys and remote controls that have been programmed.
Is the quantity correct?
Yes: The procedure is complete.
No: Continue with step 2.
