Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pump

To remove
1. Raise the car.
2. Unplug the connector for the secondary air injection pump.







3. Remove the bolts securing the secondary air injection pump. Swing out the pump and remove the hoses. Remove the pump.

To fit
1. Fit the hoses to the secondary air injection pump.
2. Check that the three bushes are correctly positioned and do not fall out.
Position the pump, attach the connector to the bracket and bolt on the pump with the three bolts.







3. Plug in the connector for the secondary air injection pump.
4. Lower the car to the floor.
