No Bus Data From MIU.










Fault Symptoms
No bus communication with the MIU.

Conditions
The following conditions are applicable:

Trionic:
- Engine has started
- No communication for 10 seconds

Diagnostic Help
Some of the following symptoms may be observable:
- Additional DTCs in TCM (P1623)
- Additional DTCs in Trionic (P1623)
- Engine will not start
- Cruise control not working
- A/C not working
- Radiator fan runs continuously
- MIU instrumentation and lighting not working

Check Wiring Harness.
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the test.
