B0029 Passenger side deployment, Resistance to high.

B0030 Passenger side deployment, short to ground/voltage out of range.












Fault symptom
Airbag warning lamp on.

Ignition on

Fault criteria
B0028 The resistance measured by the control module falls below 1.5 ±0.2 Ohms for 2 s

B0029 The resistance measured by the control module exceeds 4.5 ±0.2 Ohms for 2 s

B0030 Voltage on pin 33 in the control module exceeds 4.1 ±*0.15 V or falls below 1.0 ±0.15 V for 2 s.

System reaction to a fault
Even if there is a fault in the ignition circuit, the control module will try to trigger the airbag in the event of a collision.

Diagnostic help
The diagnostic tool can be used to read the amount of resistance in the ignition circuit.
