Background
The body width varies between the 3- and 5-door cars. In order to avoid that the side console and the seat-belt member make contact during assembly, spacer washers in the materials kit as a spare part must not be used on 5 door cars.

Procedure
When replacing the side console on 5-door cars, first check if there is a spacer washer behind the side console.
^ If the car lacks a spacer washer, the spacer washer included in the materials kit must not be fitted.
^ If there is a spacer washer, it should be fitted.
