2ND Lock-Up Valve
Valves are illustrated in their positions when the selector lever is set to neutral.
In position 2, the valve prevents up shifting from 2nd to 3rd as system pressure is led to shift valve 2-3, which is thus blocked in 2nd position.
When manually downshifting from 3rd to 2nd, the valve prevents downshift to 2nd above a certain speed by blocking system pressure to brake C'.
