CENTRIFUGAL GOVERNOR
The centrifugal governor is mounted on the side shaft of the transmission and serves as a sensor for the road speed of the car. The output speed is converted to a speed-dependent pressure signal (governor pressure), which is supplied to the hydraulic control system.
