It is possible that the dome lamp on certain 1995-96 9000 models may not stay secured to the headliner. To correct a complaint of this type, follow the directions listed below.

Cars Affected:

1995-96 9000 models up to and including T1004772

Action:





1. Remove the lamp and inspect the frame in the roof. See Figure.

2. Bend the frame as shown in Figure, point 2.

3. Using a hot-air gun, carefully heat the lamp's clips and adjust them until they are back in their original positions. See Figure.
