Command Codes, ETS





In certain cases you might want to use command codes when the engine is running.In such case, all command codes starting with a 2 can be used if the following procedure is adopted:
1 Connect the special adapter lead with capacitor, part No.86 11 048, between the ISAT diagnostics lead and the diagnostics socket in the car.
2 Turn the ignition switch to the drive position.
3 Establish communication between the SAT and the ETS control unit (F1+F2+#3+ON/ENTER).
4 Select the relevant SAT menu and enter the desired command code (ESC+ALT+F3+2XX+ON/ENTER).
5 Start the engine without turning the ignition switch back and carry out the diagnosis. The resuit of the command code will be shown continuously on the display.
To enter a new command code, repeat the above procedure from point 2.

Note: When the car is driven with SAT connected, it is normal for the TCS CTRL lamp to light up, for idling to be rough and for the Cruise Control system to be disabled.
