To eliminate the noise which the trunk lid hinge springs may make when the trunk lid is opened and closed, pieces of foam rubber have been fitted inside the springs on cars in production from VIN-N1036128, inclusive. If you have had customer complaints of this nature, please follow the instructions below for rectification procedures.

Action:

1. Fold down the trunk trim to expose the springs.

2. Place a piece of foam rubber inside each spring.

3. Refit the trim.
