Crimp Connection Locations
Application:
9000 Model Cars
In many locations in the 9000 vehicle wiring harness, crimped connections (hereafter referred to as junctions) are used. Refer to Figure 1 for the symbol used to represent junctions in the wiring diagrams.
The Technical Training Department has produced a list of junctions for the 1991 9000 naturally-aspirated model. This list can be used in conjunction with the Saab 9000 Service Manual 3:2 Electrical system, wiring diagrams. We suggest that you keep this list with the appropriate service manual and make extra copies for your technicians. Additional model variants will be added as time permits.
Note that the jumper may have a different appearance, or slightly different locations, depending on the model year and variant of the car. Many junctions on the Turbo harness may be in similar locations.
The page numbers in the chart refer to the 1991 9000 Service Manual section 3:2.
