Light Sensor

Fault Symptom:

Dim display in strong sunlight.





Action

1 Check the light sensor input (on the DCC unit, SCC unit or clock) by shining a torch on the sensor to simulate strong sunlight.

2 If the display lighting increases in intensity, the fault lies with the EDU control module.

3 If the display remains dim, the fault is probably in the light sensor or the wiring.
