Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

1. Depressurize hydraulic system, refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT.
2. Remove rubber damper from pump delivery pipe.
3. Disconnect pressure switch electrical connector.
4. Using socket tool No. 89 96 571 or equivalent, remove pressure switch.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Fit new O-ring onto pressure switch.
b. Torque pressure switch to 15-19 ft. lbs.
c. Switch ignition on to ensure brake and ABS warning lights go off.
