For your reference and information, listed below are the paint codes for the 1991 Saab 900 and 9000 models with crossreferences for several domestic aftermarket suppliers of paint.

Note

There are new locations for the paint code labels on 1991 model cars. The paint code for 900 models can be found on a label on the driver's door. Tire pressures and sizes are contained on the label also. The paint code for 9000 models can be found on a label in the door jamb on the left rear side. The tire pressures and sizes are also contained on this label.

1. The suffix letter in the Saab code indicates the primary supplier to the assembly plant. This is subject to change during the model year.

2. For refinishing work, always use color and thinning materials of the same brand for best results.

3. Anthracite grey is the color for bumper covers (excluding color keyed bumpers on certain 9000 5-door models) and 900 SPG shields. Use preparation and paint materials suitable for flexible plastic when refinishing such parts.
