Remedy 6

1. Check connector H4-10 (H4-11) and H3-16 (H3-17) for poor contact. Erase fault code and wait for at least 35 seconds with ignition switched On. If fault code has been cleared, the fault could have been in either of the connector H4-10 (H4-11) and H3-16 (H3-17). If fault code persists, proceed to step 2.
2. Disconnect H4-10 (H4-11). Using an ohmmeter at connector H4-10 (H4-11), measure wiring resistance to front sensors as follows:
a. On front sensor 1, measure between pins 1 and 3.
b. On front sensor 2, measure between pins 1 and 2.
c. If resistance is equal to or greater than 23 ohms, proceed to step 3. If resistance is lower than 23 ohms, proceed to step 4.
3. Disconnect H3-16 (H3-17). Using an ohmmeter at connector H3-16 (H3-17), measure wiring resistance to front sensors as follows:
a. On front sensor 1, measure between pins 1 and 3.
b. On front sensor 2, measure between pins 1 and 2.
c. If resistance is equal to or greater than 23 ohms, the fault is in the front sensor. If resistance is lower than 23 ohms, the fault could be in the wiring harness connectors H4-10 (H4-11) and H3-16 (H3-17).
4. The fault code could be in wiring between connector H4-10 (H4-11) and electronic unit.
