Application: 1990 900 Turbo with EGR


The 900 Service Manual Section 0, 1990 News contains an incorrect diagram of the vacuum hose routing for the EGR system. The News Book diagram also shows the EGR overflow valve in the wrong location. See Figure 1 for the correct routing of the hoses and overflow valve position.


It is important that the EGR system vacuum hoses be routed correctly. Incorrect hose connections will cause false fault codes in the LH ECU causing the "Check Engine" light to illuminate.
