Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Testing and Inspection

Resistance measurements are strongly affected by temperature. The valve should be checked at room temperature. The engine should not be run before starting this test procedure.

1. Disconnect connector from AIC valve.
2. Connect digital volt/ohmmeter across terminals of actuator. Resistance should be 2-12 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, install new AIC valve. If resistance is as specified, perform ``Automatic Idle Control Function'' test.
